Most doctors now in the uk you have to book an appoinment to see them, so how do you predict when your going to be ill. :unsure:

Not where I am, you phone in the morning then go down to t'surgery.

Health is a devolved issue, I don't know if that makes a difference.

Same thing at mine J`pol, but there`s a fellow i work with where it`s a day or so before you can see the doctor.:youcouldhavedied:

Perhaps when it's a life or death thing a visit to A & E may be a good idea.

Or a call to the local on-call quack for a home visit.

We are not all living in the 'Spam Belt' of Scotland JP. Where I live someone on the telephone is trying to do an appendectomy on you even if you are just phoning in to get a GP appointment for the wife.
