How To Connect Computer To Tv

Can someone make a guide or tutorial about how to connect your computer to your tv, mention different scenerios and methods that this can be done. Mention the least to best quality and from easy to hard way of doing it. Thanks! Im trying to connect mine to my tv but doesn't work.

What are you system specs, most importantly, the video card?

Oh hey thanks guys for your help, but I actually figured it out myself. I was connecting my computer to my tv using a S-Video cable, but the tv has to be set to S-Video. That's what was wrong, nothing was happening on my screen until I found that setting on the Tv. Then Wahla! It works. but my computer acts just like a computer monitor without any sound coming from the built in speakers my tv has but sound comes out of the PC so I have to use my computer speakers.

You've inputed the video, now do the same with your audio-out on your PC.

BTW, tweak your settings to make fonts more legible. (if so desired)
