View Full Version : midnight club 3 - Protocol not working well :(

I have a duo2se modchip and a 400c laser. When i play midnight club 3 it will often freeze and i'll have to restart my ps2. the areas of the game where i notice the game freezing is when i complete the third stage of racing/challenging a person and it also freezes when i try to go to the "garage" while cruising. Im wondering, has anyone experienced this problem , or know of a way to fix it.... i burned the game on a dvd+r at 6x with alcohol 120%....

eh, some things you can do is try using dvd decrypter, or use DVD-R, or burn at a lower speed. and also use high quality disks: Verbatim, or Ritek.

wow it looks like i got it figured out. i took out the disc and cleaned to very hard, and from therei inserted it. and from there i waited like a minute, and the game was able to unfreeze itself :D

so it was something as simple as just having to clean the disk, cool.

and, nope i dont have protocol... i rented the game and copied it :ohmy:

crap i just got to the part where i beat Vanessa on the third race. after getting the second prize, the game freezes again, i wait 15 mins and nothing... :( could be the laser.. :(
