when you plug in the camera it will ask for the driver on cd etc, it will then Not find this file and that is when you direct it to sonypvu1.sys on your system.
then everything should work.
im on another pc right now so cant search for where the actual location is - /system32

1. This is an one year old issue with Sony. (the file is unavailable from their site)

2. One year later while selling new hardware, they seem to still miss this one
file - very very strange. Still can't find it on Sony.com // support.

3. Why has this not been acknowledged by them?

4.Why is there no other solution than Download SONYPVU1.SYS here (free) (http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/../t-download-sonypvu1sys-here-free-99999) for googlebot)

5. The noobs which reply are polite enough to register to download the file, even though they don't need to add their thanks.

6. The file gets hit at an average 4 hits a day.

I Don't get it, why has SONYPVU1.SYS(for googlebot) still not released a core part of it's basic hardware install files free on the web, and why does this file not exist on Sony.cum.
