• Halo Remake to Utilise Kinect

Remember back when E3 was doing its thing and Microsoft were all, “We’re remixing Halo: Combat Evolved and it’s not really going to be that different to the decade-old original lol”? Turns out that’s not quite true. Halo: CE Anniversary, due for November 15th, will apparently come equipped with support for Kinect. Perhaps it will act as somewhat of a guinea pig for further FPS integration with Microsoft’s cool motion-sensing gizmo? Be a good place to start.

In an interview with Gamespot, Microsoft Studios head honcho Phil Spencer elaborated: “As a first party, we believe that Kinect will be important to all genres of games, be it racing games with Forza, combat games like Ryse. Even games like Halo Anniversary has Kinect integration.”

Further to the point, another unnammed Microsoft rep stated:
"It's no surprise we're exploring ways Kinect can enhance game experiences in authentic and meaningful ways. The Kinect features we're exploring with Halo: Anniversary are additive and will not affect the core gameplay experience or alter our mission of delivering a faithful re-creation of the original game. That said, we have nothing else to share just yet."

Whatever. Just so long as I get to make a gun out of my thumb and index finger, point, and say “pew-pew.”

I didn't know that there is a Halo: Anniversary coming out. Hope regular controller support will be added as well.

What do you mean "regular" controller Funkin'?I was watching an E3 stream when they were announcing this. Apparently you're going to be able to toggle between the old graphics and remastered

I meant that I'm hoping it's not going to be used with the Kinect only, Which I'm doubting it will.I played through this game so many times, and it's one of those FPS's that just doesn't get old to me.
