• Man Gets Hard Drive Full of Secret Apple Documents

You knew about the one about a man who walks into a bar and finds a lost iPhone. Well, this one is about a man who walks into an Apple Store and walks out with a hard drive full of Apple secrets.

An unidentified Cult of Mac tipster went to an Apple Store to fix his Time Capsule and was given back a hard drive full of top secret Apple retail documents.
But what exactly happened? The short version: Idiots.

The long one: when he came back to pick up his Time Capsule, one of the Apple Store's Geniuses gave this man his fixed Time Capsule alongside its old, replaced hard drive. In theory, the old hard drive was broken but, when he arrived home, the man connected it to his computer and discovered that it was a working disk containing a full Time Machine backup of that Apple Store's server. Inside, the drive is packed with confidential documents going from late 2009 to May 2011:

confidential docs, internal manuals, Apple's sales technics, an Apple store work checklist, products layout, time schedules, pictures and videos of Apple corporate activities that only Apple employees can see, videos of store meetings, business structure and much much much more.
The man offered the hard drive to Cult of Mac for money, but they declined the offer, as they only pay their stories with love and rainbow ponies. However, they got some more screenshots of the Finder showing some files. It looks 100% legit to me.

"The short version: Idiots." love that lol. Makes you wonder about the so called height of quality that's expected from these Apple shops if they could 'accidentally' install a used HDD.

I am just as interested in seeing these "documents" as much as I'd be interested in seeing Scientology transcripts, evangelical TV programming, and workplace safety videos. That's to say it's whatever is accessible to employees, yawn, who fucking cares.
