• Tipsy Facebook Users Account for 76 Percent of Tagged Photos

Compromising Facebook photos have led to people getting fired, divorced and shunned by friends, but that has not had a dampening effect on users. According to a U.K. poll of 1,781 adult Facebook users by MyMemory.com, respondents said they were under the influence of alcohol in 76 percent of the pictures they were tagged in.

More than half of surveyed Brits said there were photographs of them on Facebook they would not want colleagues or employers to see, and 8 percent admitted to appearing in pictures that could get them into "serious trouble" at work.

Despite their own concerns over after-hours antics, two-thirds said they had intentionally tagged friends in embarrassing situations. Why? So friends "would be alerted."

A quarter of the respondents said they had not set any privacy controls.

An additional 58 percent set their privacy settings to "friends," so that all friends could see their photos. As a result, 93 percent of those surveyed said they had deleted tags on photos because they were "too embarrassing."

Don't get on a high horse here America, this is a British poll. Mashable even mentioned it in their title: http://mashable.com/2011/12/15/briti...lcohol-photos/ No doubt in Iran, 100% Facebook users pictures are covered? TND = Fox news?
