Free Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Weekend Started Today on Steam for PC

Steam has prepared a massive surprise for its users this weekend, as it will allow everyone to try out the multiplayer mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for free.

Valve has always pleased its Steam users by offering lots of sales and special promotions.

This weekend, however, the company is really pulling out all the stops by allowing everyone with a Steam account to try out the multiplayer mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for free.

What’s more, Steam’s idea of a weekend starts on Thursday so, at 10am PST (6pm GMT), you’ll be able to jump into the Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer without paying a single cent.

Until then, you can now pre-load the game to ensure that you won’t have to wait once the weekend begins.

We were quite impressed with the multiplayer mode in Modern Warfare 3 and, while it hasn’t received any of the content that appeared on the Xbox 360, it’s still a great experience.
