Existence of Modern Warfare 3 Confirmed

A teaser ad for the next issue of the official British PlayStation magazine has revealed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is indeed in development, and that the august publication will be running an exclusive jumbo feature on the game in its next issue, due to hit Pommy newsagencies on June 8.

The timing of this feature's publication would also suggest that Activision may very well be demonstrating MW3 at E3, and that it's entirely possible that the next installment of the blockbuster first-person shooter franchise will be available in time for Christmas.

But will MW3 support dedicated servers? Will you be able to go prone? Will it be balanced for lean? These questions, and many more, remain unanswered.
