In recent months we've seen
growing judicial skepticism of mass copyright lawsuits. Many judges have concluded that plaintiffs—often pornography publishers—have no interest in actually litigating cases and instead hope to use the threat of ruinous legal bills (not to mention the embarrassment of public association with pornography) to extract four-figure cash settlements from defendants.
