Cd To Pc

i have GTA 3 and i want to take the game and play it on my pc without having to use the game cd.
can i do this?
if so, how.

You can use WinISO to extract the files from the .bin, or something like Daemon Tools to mount the .bin file.

what's a .bin?

First make sure you have the 1.1 update patch. You can get it here...

Then, go to h**p://www.megagames.com/cracks/html/c904950_0.htm (copy this link to your clipboard, paste it into Internet Explorer and replace the *'s with t's)

Download one of the 'Grand Theft Auto 3 v1.1' No CD cracks. This will simply be a replacement .exe file which you can put into your game folder. Make sure you make a backup copy of the original gta3.exe first!

If you want to hear the radio stations, you have to copy the 'Audio' folder from CD 2 into your game folder.

okay i have these two files...but i really need a step by step guide cos i've not done this before! :huh:

First double-click on the patch file. It should install the 1.1 upgrade.

Next double-click the crack file. If you don't have XP, you will need Winzip or WinRar to open this file (both are available on Kazaa). Once you open it, there should be a file called 'gta3.exe'. Copy that file into the folder where you originally installed GTA3, overwriting the original.

Now you should be able to launch the game without having the CD inserted.

or use nero or clone cd to copy it.... onto a cd

ps. a Bin file is just like an iso, its an image of the game cd, perefct 1:1 copy

you can also use ME, witch is not a real OS cuz it really sucks.
