Alcohol 120%...HELP? someone...

I just went to the store and bought some 120 proof alcohol (took me forever to fucking find)

well i dipped the CD inside a tupperware thing to soak it in the alcohol and then tried to play it in my comp and the program still won't fucking open WTF!!

what the fuck am i doing wrong? is it suppose to stay wet? I dried it off after I soaked it.
