The North is warmer.
The North is not as wet.
The North is not as windy.
The North is cheaper.
I am in the south, and its wet and windy and cold and expensive. Are there any advantages to living down here?

Watford gap service station apparently. I've lived in London and it wasn't bad. Its just that today I am REALLY south and the weather stinks and I'm not allowed to go home for a few days.
And I'm closer to France.
I live in the south. The south is normally warmer, sunnier and more clement. I admit, today is a bit of a pisser! :(Quote:

I think there's also less illness down here. Everyone lives longer and is fitter and healthier. We all have nice cars, go on nice sophisticated foreign holidays. Everyone is proud of their gardens, and sport is politely applauded hip hip hoorah. Rough games are not allowed in the schools, or the streets.
There's alot to be said for living in the south. ;)
Yes, but the smell doesn't carry because I checked that before I moved here... ;)Quote:
