I assume most of you have seen the tv trailer for the new harry potter movie.
It's being advertised that it will be in both Imax and Theatres.
Do you know if the scene ever does Imax movie rips?
(And not just in reference to harry potter, but other Imax only movies too)

Well, the new Apollo 13 DVD has both the theatrical and IMAX version of the movie. I also have the IMAX DVD of Nascar, Blue Planet, and Antarctica. I never been to an IMAX theater but strangely, the IMAX DVDs are all fullscreen.
Yes there are plenty of IMAX movies out there.
They are fullscreen because the IMAX theater screen is close to the 4:3 aspect ratio. The IMAX screen is way bigger than a regular theater screen.
Blue Planet is one of my favorite movies.
Awesome! Do you know where I can find a list of the movies that have been in Imax? Or does using the term Imax in searching probably find all the ones avialable?
