ok heres the deal i work on friday nights 5 till 10 and its so bloody annoying, i cant go out with my mates or gf or anything like that, so can anyone think of a good reason to tell my boss why i cant work fridays anymore, im willing to work another night in the week, just not friday :(
any ideas?

well i would but thats like half the night gone, wouldnt really be worth it
and i finish at 10 but by the time i got into town it would be like 10.30, no good :(
It could be worse, you could be working the sat and sun mornings. I did that and its all great and stuff because you can go out, but you have to go home early all the time, never get a lay in and knowing that you're gonna feel like shit all day kinda spoils the night out!
Maybe try and compromise on two fridays a month and tell him that you never see your gf as she works the rest of the week?
Go out saturday nights.

well funnily enough i work saturdays aswell im 12 til 9, but i dont normally do much on a saturday everyone normally wants to go out on a friday.
@baz, im not usually a big drinker anyway :shifty:
@blyth, yeah sounds like a good idea about the two fridays a month thing, i dont really know anyone yet but when i do i might be able to get them to cover my shift or something, never thought of that :)

Be really amenable and cover other people when they want time off and then, when you want a friday night, they can't really say no!
