Can't update pc-cillin internet security

I just installed the new version of pc-cillin internet security 2005, everytime I try to update, I get an error.

Here is the error, An error occurred while trying to connect to the internet.
Check your internet connection and try again. If you connect to the Internet using a proxy server, check the proxy settings.(56)

Im running Windows XP home and using third party software to connect to my college wireless internet. Also I tried to add pc-cillin into my exceptions list under the Windows firewall settings.
Hope someone can help thanks.

Get a decent AV and firewall rather than pc-cillin and the windows firewall perhaps? :unsure:

What would you suggest?

lol I was going to say something similar. NOD32 or KAV for an AV. And Sygate (hurry before Symantec f's it up) or LooknStop or GhostWall for a firewall.
