is SATA2 backwards compatible with SATA?
Yes I did some reading up on this as I ordered a sata-300(sata2) hard drive and a sata-150(sata) motherboard, and it turns out they are backwards compatible. :)

SATA 3 is just around the corner, pretty soon you'll be so far from the cutting edge that you won't even see the blood.
I am posting now, from the raid, althought I had some problems, like not knowing how to set up raid and whatnot, and then for some reason it kept crying grub error, but alas it booted. I need to find a bench mark tool now.
