video editting program whats good?

I have adobe premiere pro 1.5 but what do you recommend as a quick video edit program? For example i recorded this movie thats 90 mins i want to get rid of the first 30 mins and last 5 mins, adobe premiere can do it but the rendering takes about 1:30 mins to create it back, what program can just cut it out really quick
