I have downloaded a movie which I would like to have on DVD, how can I shrink it to fit onto 1 DVD. Any help would be appreciated. Tar:ermm:

Shrink? an .avi file is mostly 700 or 1400 MB. a DVD is 4.4 GB....

try a prog called dvd2svcd which will encode avi 2 dvd but you need to get cce. the forums at www.doom9.org will help you.
Use Virtual Dub this will let you compress the avi file but will take a while.
I thnik the the thread poster should explain the problem with more detail. rly. I dont understand whats the problem.
dl Nero Vision Express, with a codec. Then convert the AVI and burn it onto a dvd-r.
