Re: GPS tracker for my car
Long time in the business: http://www.lojack.com/
But I think that some cell phone companies could provide a similar service with an inexpensive phone hidden in the vehicle. Many offer GPS tracking and some are even designed to have young children carry them so that parents can "track" their kids.
Re: GPS tracker for my car
how much would lojack cost? i'm getting a brand new 2006 suzuki grand vitara
and is lojack one of those things where u have to pay them monthly? cuz that's stupid. and lojack only works with the police apparently. i want to see where it is too
maybe i need something like this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/GPS-Active-Track...QQcmdZViewItem
or this:
http://www.vehicle-tracking.com
yea....
and i can do the cellphone method. i have a bunch of old cellphones that i don't use, most if not all of them have the tracking ability. if i do that, will i be able to see where the cellphone is? or can only the phone company see it?

Re: GPS tracker for my car
No matter how you do it, utilizing GPS for tracking will cost you some sort of monthly fee.
(btw, it's not like this sort of service runs by itself)
Re: GPS tracker for my car
Where do you live?
'cause you don't need one here in Burlington.
Here local dance competitions make the Burlington Post front page, so our vehicles are quite secure.
Re: GPS tracker for my car
i called sprint and tmobile. apparently they don't have any kind of "per-minute" service so i can use a phone as a gps. wtf! sprint u lying turd. retarded customer service bitches. they told me last year they have a $0.40/minute service. wtf
the only thing t-mobile has are their prepaid card shit. but they expire in 2 months.

wat can i do?
Re: GPS tracker for my car
put maps of where ever you're going in your glove compartment.
Re: GPS tracker for my car

Re: GPS tracker for my car
