usb 2.0 prob

'i recently did a system recovery on my sony vaio laptop and when i put the usb 2.0 card back in and put something in it, it would say tht it could perform faster with a usb 2.0 but it is a usb 2.0 so i have no clue wht the problem is. it worked perfectly before i did the system recovery. and also how can i tell if it is operating at usb 2.0 or if it is working.

Try going to Windows Update or (God forbid) Sony itself and see if there is a patch or driver available.

Good luck with Sony BTW...be sure to have your credit card handy.

You need to install at least SP1 to get USB 2.0 functions.
