Serious, i dont see what the hype is all about.

i've got the 60 min behind the scenses spore video and i think it looks and sounds great! think civilization series, but u start off as a bacteria/cell type organizm and grow 'til u go off into outer space and have a war with beings from others planets just to blow up the planet u were living on. YES! fuckin' crazy man.

The Sims seemed pretty amazing at first, it turned out to be only fun for a little bit.

The Radiant AI for Oblivion sounded and looked really good in the preview videos but in fact all it does is make people wander around talking about mudcrabs and trundle off to bed when it gets dark. The Sims, as Doris points out, "seemed pretty amazing" but turned out to be an advanced version of the Tamagotchi. Black and White is another game that was all hype but failed to deliver in full.

So, yeah, Spore does sound amazing. But then again, it is supposed to.
