help plz plz

hello,i downloaded sims 2 and it came in loads of different file types,img,cue,ccd,sub......and like loads of games i downloaded i cant seem to get them working at all i really need help as waiting for days for them to download then not be able to use them..:-)

With cue, bin, img, iso and ccd files use nero (Click recorder -> burn image) or alcohol 120% (Click burn image), or mount the files to a virtual drive with alcohol 120% or daemon tools.

thanks rossco,1 more thing is how can it be that every game i download always seems to be an "invalid file format"when i try to burn image?? surely not every game can be damaged >???????????????
