Splitting large files + creating PAR2s

hi all,
ive been using newsgroups for about a month now, i use newsleecher and i want to start posting files. What do i use to split files like dvd ISOs and what do i use to make PAR2s for it? when thats done, can i use newsleecher to post it or do i have to use a different program,

I used that guide to get things going. Worked well for me.

I had to experiment a little with the format of file/post name to get it as I wanted but that was my head and not the explanations in the program :P
