Have they Conned me?

hi, just to make sure of something. i payed for a "256MB nVidia™ GeForce™ 7300LE Turbocache graphics card"

This is what everest tells me on the computer:

Video Adapter NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE (512 MB)


3D Accelerator nVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE (128MB)

Are these values right for the Card above in quotation make or have they swindled me? Confused as non of these show 256MB since that is what i payed for..

Try this:
Right click on the desktop -> properties -> settings -> advanced -> adaptor
What does it say for 'Memory Size' here?
You could also check under the graphics card tab on this same window what it says.

it says 512MB ... have just got 256 MB for free?!?

I think the "turbocache" 512 means that it borrows some from system memory, and there's onli 128mb on board of the graphics card.

Correct me if I'm wrong :p

Yes jsut looked it up and it seems that's exactly what turbocache does.
