Should there be an age limit for nzb when posted setup...
Ya, Don't really see the point in posting stuff over 15 days...
I picked less than 10 days, because my ISP (Verizon) only carries binaries for a week. Other than that, newsgroups for my ISP are great. :)
I picked 40days... I sometimes miss stuff and its like 50days old and I have to stop my young nzb's to get those older ones before they hit 65days.
Most people now have good enough retention to get those older files so 40days should be ok or the highest that most providers do which is 50/65days.
 y not?Quote:

i posted some 40 day old or something house episodes of season 2 and 3 people got them.. so its worth it :ermm:
I want 70. Same as Giganews. I want to grab stuff when I want it and not everyone else.
It's also nice to be able to post stuff even though it may be 20 days old posts and it haven't been posted here.
I only have 7 day retention so anything above that i cant grab.
I voted 40 days but would have chosen longer if it was available.
With premium services extending their retention to anything up to 70 days I think FST would be less useful for people using those services if NZBs were deleted sooner than 40 days.
A limit must be imposed while there is still a limit to server retention. Apart from being pointless, it unnecessarily increases the FST db size IMO.
It would be nice if threads could be auto-locked or NZB links automatically removed when NZBs are deleted from the db. This would at least prevent n00b bumping of age-old threads.
What reality meant was that they can't be posted if they're over X days old.
We're keeping the date we have set for when they're deleted from the database...
Argh.
Bugger!
I'd like to register a vote for 30 days then. There's still plenty of time for premium service subscribers to grab the post.
