Did they not believe that someone had passed or what?
awww man that sucks :(
I guess I could ask for a death certificate. Though it may take a while since it would have to come from San Diego.
I think it's more just that my ex-boss is a fucking bitch who doesn't understand that when someone's immediate family dies suddenly, it's not like a bloody goldfish.

They can not fire you for missing one day (with a good excuse), did you call it in before hand or just not show up? Ofcourse if your a pilot it can be annoying.
There must have been more to lead this on, no?
Anyway there are more and better jobs outhere.
Feel bad for for you.
I left her a note, since I'm asleep when she's awake. I'd been working there three years and never had anything written up against me.
I'd get drunk, but I'm short on booze and probably shouldn't go out and buy a whole wack of it. So I guess stoned will have to do.

That’s well bad mate, are you with the works union.
Citizen advice, if you have one in Canada.
hope you get it sorted
Nope...no union. :( I'll probably end up going before the Ministry of Labour though, and filing a complaint and that.
:shuriken:
thats hella ghey
Go for it MagicNakor, hope you get it sorted,
In the UK if you have been Dismissed, it has to be for good reason and if the employer is found guilty then they have to offer the job back and give compensation, but you don't have to go back to that job.
