Need some help please.

Ok this is for anyone who may know about electronics/switches/guitar switches.

I've had to replace the pick-up selector switch on my Epiphone Les Paul cos it went tits up about 4 weeks ago, took it off and ordered one from the place in town, only just got it and have realised I didn't write down which wires go where (yes.....I know).

Does anyone know or know where I could find out?

I have 4 terminals on the switch, left, right and middle and earth.
I have 6 wires on guitar.
Yellow - from negetive jack, white - hot from jack, red - from pickup, white - from pick up (same wire as red) and Black from pickup with white from same.
I can't for the life of me remember how it went and have tried a good 30 combinations, I can get both pickups sounding but I can't get the switch to actually switch one or the other off as and when I need to.

Help please :)

And yes before someone says "Google is your friend" I have exhuasted google in extensive searches.
