Can Anyone Explain This

As far as I know NewsHostings retention is ~45 days, but i have come across these comments in the past week or so:

So waht do nzb's have to do with longer unadvertized retention?

Nothing to do with it, sounds like that host is holding onto files longer than advertised. *Maybe* they have a certain amount of disk space allocated for each group and for groups that dont get posted to as much have a longer retention as a result.
Just a guess, you could always email the host asking them that question.
