K-Lite Codec Pack is a collection of codecs and related tools. Codec is short for Compressor-Decompressor. Codecs are needed for encoding and decoding (playing) audio and video. Is there a reason the realtime player opens random urls when using the seek bar? Is that dependant on the player or the file? It really pissed me off. Put me off using the k-lite codec pack.

Edit: sorry if it's seperate from the codec pack, I thought it was all one big pack including the players.
