DVD Rescue exception error

Can anyone tell me why i keep getting an exception error when i open DVD X Rescue, the program opens, asks me to select a device and no matter which drive I select I get an exception error and the program closes. Program used to work fine, but had to reload PC and thus this problem now.

I'v never tryed the program but sometimes reinstalling it helps . Afterdawn has a good help section on it tho .
