Stupid things said by people you know

The other day I went out with some mates from work for a game of bowling.
Somehow the conversation turned to creatures like seals etc...
Someone asked what would be bigger, a walrus or a seacow?

To what my friend Jenn said 'That's irrelevant, a walrus doesn't even live in the sea'

When we then questioned her further on what she thought a walrus was, she told us it was a four legged mammal living on the African plains and eats walnuts... hence the name...:blink:

I was baffled

Calling someone a "dipshit asshole" I found pretty stupid but humorous.

Last year my little girl and son were visiting a cathederal and one of the vergers was explaining the history of the place.
He said to my little girl "Are you squeemish?"
To which she replied "No I'm English"

My friend asked me where the Dominican Republic was. I answered it was Central America.

She shot me a very undignified look and said. 'Don't be stupid, it's tropical, it must be in Germany or something'

I know a girl who thought 'Europe' was a country. This was about 2 years ago.
