1. Original/Signed/Authentic.
2. Legally theirs to own as it was given to them as a present.

Thats what i want, the problem i have is, Where do i start? who do i ask?

I suppose you could start off by checking the phone book, have a look for any business that does art appraisals or art authentications locally.

Also look for antique shops or art galleries, if nothing else, you could ask them who they'd use, if they don't do that sort of thing themselves.


And do get more than one opinion, from separate firms.
