Which Linksys router to get ?

I need to get a router and wanted a Linksys that I can put 3 party software on. Which ones between the Wrt54G, wrt54GL, Wrt54GS(this one has the speedboost) are the easiest to hack? Anybody have any suggestions or have successfully hacked their linksys on one of these routers.

Just buy the WRT-54G and upgrade it with the best 3rd Party firmware out there, which is DD-WRT.

I have the 54gs, and i like it. However, transfer rate is only 54mbps. I think I would rather have a d-link like my sister.
