In what order should I watch the GiTS movies and series?

So I have the release dates in chronological order:

November 18, 1995 - Ghost in the Shell
October 1 2002/25 March 2003 - Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C.
January 1 2004/8 January 2005 - Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. 2nd GIG
March 6, 2004 - Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence
September 1, 2006 - Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. Solid State Society

Will it be in my best interest to watch these in this order, so I don't feel lost if, say, (i'll give you an obvious example) i watch S.A.C. 2nd GIG before S.A.C. 1sy GIG?

Or does it really matter?

defiantly watch the 1995 movie first. doesn't really matter after that.

yeh watch the 1995 movie first... then Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence, as it is a direct sequel.

the series is not connected to the movies.. watch them after the movies.

and watch the series in order...
