Simple Life Vs Possible Strife?

Ok...If you could take either:

"Moderate house. Financial security (not loaded, just ok). A kid or 2. Trustable/comfortable partner. Mid range car/bike. Job security (though no real chance of it taking off in the future). Standard holiday once/twice a year. All guaranteed" *

versus:

A life of uncertainties/risks, where it could all go wrong, or very very right.

At this point in time, which would you choose. And why?

(* maybe you don't want or view kids or summat as simplistic in this list. Delete as appropriate to you)

If its just me im looking out for, I'd do option 2 without hesitation.

But since thats not the case, option 1 ftw! Although no partner of mine can ever stop me from putting down 10G in the WSOP in Vegas.

I go for option 1, and i don't have another major person in my life. I'd be happy with the basic things, though would always wonder "what if?"

Though, would also join you on the table if i had 10G. I don't know what WSOP is, but hell, sounds great! :)

I like the idea of a risk, not a dead-cert that i will be the guy you mentioned! I am shite at poker. So many variations also.

BlackJack, solitaire, hearts i can play. Chase the Ace and Snap also.

I'd have a go at roulette though.

What's $10,000, about £8. How much of a risk is that.

I suppose I have 1 although the partner has left. I couldn't really undertake 2 as the kids rely on me to foot the bills - SGG and ebay = :cry:

On reflection life has not been unkind and a great many cannot say that.
