I have 2 DIVX movies that sre superior in video quality and sound quality, but I can only play them in Windows Media Player or BS-Player.
I want to extract the audio, using Virtual DUB, but there is no audio decompressor found! The same error applied to TMPGenc too! And a few other media players.
Can somebody help me? I have looked for all sorts of audio codecs, and none seem to do work.

how about checking to see what audio codec it uses with the properties option inside wmp.
then see if you have it. ;)

Thanks! Here's what I found out so far!
Windows Media Player:
Audio = AC3Filter
BSplayer:
Audio = AC3
I also found a program called AVIcodec. It will tell you what codec a movie file uses.
ALSO, since I have the AC3 codec, I have to extract it using VirtualDUB's SAVE WAV feature, but rename it from WAV to AC3, then convert it to mp2.
Then, I can use TEMPGenc to make my VCDs, by using the AVI as the video track, and the mp2 as the sound source.
