GoldWave can convert a lot of formats and can even take audio from certain video formats and turn them into audio formats. You could also try dBpoweramp.
Yes dBPowerAMP is excellent.
Use It! it's super-easy and simple. easy on the slowest PC.
didnt like dBPowerAMP much so might stick with Xilisoft Audio Converter till i find something better
