just got my new seedbox base debian and i dont know how to install and configuring anything.
i read the guide here but still cant deal with it.
can someone please please help me in private? leave msn\icq\irc anything

(think) i did everything ok, but now i cant access VNC (connection redused 10061)

you can tried to install rTorrent (i have this)
on my seedbox with ubuntu(is based debian)
...i have installed rTorrent becouse my server not have GUI
and run very well
your remote server have web gui?
every linux server can have a gui. But it isn't installed by default. You first need to install a gui (like gnome, kde or fluxbox) Then you install vncserver to acces the gui remotely. If you still need some help pm me. If you dont want a gui you also can install torrentflux, my favourite bittorrent client, it's webbased.
i think the problem is here:
i follow the guide here and when i come to this command: "sudo apt-get install xubuntu-desktop" i get error msg: " Couldn't find package xubuntu-desktop"
any idea?
