My scanner has just blown up. :( :swear:
I plugged it in so I could scan a picture in and it just went bang. At first I was not sure what happened but then it went bang again and smoke started coming out of it. It was actually cool and I guess I will now have to ask weemouse or Lamsey nicely if I can use their scanner to scan in the picture.
Sympathy??? :'(
your lucky mate you did not blow the computer as well.
Sounds like the wires in the plug were loose.

i remember, the last pc i had, i tried to plug a cable back in but had no idea where it went.
so instead of turning the pc off, i flicked a switch at the back of the pc tower and:
KABLAMO!!!
