gone back to windows xp from vista as didnt like it. My laptop previously picked up my wireless router fine in vista but cant work out how to set it up in xp? ne ideas I have a via compatable fast ethernet adapter??

install yer wireless driver

I was googling for fun and see there's two drivers , A wireless lan driver " and " wireless client manager ?

managed to sort it out can get on net now just having problems playing games. says failed to load direct x all the time??
It seems there are 2 drivers, one for Atheros, one for Intel.
Similarly, there's a Wireless Lan Client Manager for each: Atheros, Intel.

trying to load broken sword-angel of death ands till get error starting direct x?
you can use the dxdiag command to check the state of directx on your computer. maybe looking at the info there can give some clue abot the problem?
had a look but just tells me i have directx 9c
