Seeding in standby

I'm sorry if this was posted elsewhere, but as far as I know it wasn't...

Will uTorrent keep seeding torrents if my computer goes into system standby?

What if my computer shuts off the hard disks?

Right now I have Win XP set up so it never shuts off the hard disks or goes into system standby, but I don't want to keep it like that unless I have to. Does anyone know?

Putting the computer in standby, hibernation, or shutting down the hard drive will stop all uploading/downloading. Hope this helps.
