Demonoid not availabe in Canada?

I got this message when trying to go to demonoid today:

We received a letter from a lawyer represeting the CRIA, they were threatening with legal action and We need to start blocking Canadian traffic because of this. If you reside in Canada, that is the reason you are being redirected to this message. Thanks for your understanding, and sorry for any inconvenience.

This is the first time I've received this message. Just wondering if this has been posted before, and if I'm the only one having this problem.

every man who lives in Canada have that ban try to use proxys to by pass this :) that will fix the problem :D

Demonoid is annoying .. some generous dude spent on me 2 invites ...
i tried to make an account , i done everthing fine and waited for the confirmation email
(and im Still Waiting - for more then three days...)
i tried to create another account with different email adress ... still the same dead end >:(

You're not missing much: demonoid is my least used tracker.

if you ask me, demonoid sucks

speeds arent that great on demonoid but its quite easy to seed non the less and has a huge variety of torrents :) pretty good tracker overall

Yea, speeds are not too good but it rocks for the content.

i'm not in canada, but using a proxy to access demonoid. proxy hasn't affected my dl speed..
