I just installed windows xp pro. when i went to install the sp1 update it said that the product key code used to install windows is invalid. I dled a keygen and found a valid key, but wut do i do with it. i already entered one o got off of the internet when i installed xp. also xp dosnt ask for me to activate it. i am pretty sure that im not usin the corporate edition. plz help
Reinstall and put in a correct valid key at installation.
i use a keygen and got 3 new keys. i load the cd and click install windows xp. then i select new installation. but when i enter the keys none of them work. do i have to reformat the harddrive first or do i just have to keep getting key codes till one works?

That keygen you have is probably dishing out old or invalid keys. I get my keys from my school in the I.T. department. Ive given the key I have now to about 6 people since a year ago when I got it. And it installed just fine for them. If you like I can pm it to you. :)Quote:

Use the XP key changer which you can get of kazaa and comes with ste by step instructions. It's 247kb, good luck.
Or you can get a copy that isnt blackmarked :P
