I havn't used ss in a little over a week and it was always buggy, but now it wont even start. I tried ss isle but it did the same thing. Reinstalled both and they just freeze when they start up. Im like a junkie without his music fix, can anyone help me out..
it just started working.. o well, ss is weird.
It takes a while to load up...especially for me sharing the amount i do...All the big sharers also have this problem...
Yeah, if you're sharing many many files then it'll take a while. The program may even say "not responding" but it really is. It'll stay stuck on the scanning shared folders for a while. Even me who's only sharing about 800 takes a couple minutes to scan...I can imagine someone like Celery who's sharing over 10,000 file would take quite some time!
yeah ss is werid I find that if you go with a different user name all of a sudden all your problems are solved don't ask me why :blink:
