I don't understand
Right, I know nothing about car accidents and what you're supposed to do etc...
Anyways, when we were in town on Saturday morning we touched another car with our bumper, result was a wee scrape out of the paintwork on the either car and a scuff mark on our bumper. Changed details and insurance details but agreed we would probably settle this without the insurance as the cost would be less than the excess.
Now there's a message from a solicitor on my answer machine asking us to get in touch?
Why?

Re: I don't understand
the person who you had an accident with has probably changed his mind and it depends who hit who first if you hit him he will claim more of you as it usually doesn't affect his no claims
