Re: Seedbox using uTorrent
Can I do that without violating my terms and getting booted from my host? I wonder why my host set it up that way? there must be a purpose for it. Will they be able to tell if I disable it? Questions and more questions... LMAO..
Re: Seedbox using uTorrent
Some always set it up that way, it's up to us to disable it :)
Re: Seedbox using uTorrent
Thank you sir.. Off to disable it and see if that works to get my upload speeds flying...
Just wanted to say thank you again to SgtMajor, fstokebanget and any others that help me get my seedbox up and running. How did I live without one up till now!
What used to take me days and days to seed back now takes minutes and I mean minutes :D . How about a 745MB file taking under 8 minutes to get back to 1.0 ratio! May not be great for some but awesome for me.
Could not have done it without this great site and the helpful members here. Even cured my disc errors from the post by fstokebanget. Thanks again...
Oh a few more things.... Someone suggested to install WebUI on my server. What is that and what does it do? I searched the forums but didn't really find anything.
Also going to install Filezilla on my server. Do I instal Filezilla client or server. I'm guessing server for my server... But hey you never know.

Re: Seedbox using uTorrent
Filezilla server on your server <shock!>, then use flashfxp or what you normally use for your FTP client on your home PC.
Don't forget to add yourself as a user on your filezilla server, and give yourself a user directory normally the same place as your torrents go, and give yourself RWDA permissions so you can remove files & directories all from within your FTP client.
uTorrent web ui is great, google it for the instructions and the files:
