I have Bittorent 3.1. Sometimes when I download they get stuck, nothing is uploaded or downloaded so I cancel the download. Then I start the same torrent file in the same directory as the stuck download is in. When it starts up it says checking file, then starts downloading from where I left off. Does this really start where I left off, and can it cause any problems like corruption of the files?

yes it starts where it left off, its like pausing it
dunno if it can currupt but ive done it on quite a few movies and never had anything currupt

No it doesn't cause corruption when u have a corrupted file it will tell u failed piece hash re-downloading or something like that
