HI I have xp proffesional. It all works fine and with the service pack.. But one thing bugs me.. I keep getting little pop ups when online.. they say that they come through messenger.. Links dont work not that I would want to use one...Mostly advertising a solution to get rid of them.. Does anyone know hot to block these ? Thanks

you need to disable this in messenger.
open Run and type services.msc into the box, scroll down and change to disabled
If that fails try this:
Click Start->Settings ->Control Panel
Click Administrative Tools
Click Services
Double click Services Scroll
down and highlight "Messenger"
Right-click the highlighted line and choose Properties.
Click the STOP button.
Select Disable or Manual in the Startup Type scroll bar
Click OK
And if all that is too much for you,go to www.grc.com and there is a program for lamers to do it. :D
