i will have a gforce fx 5200 with tv out. now i want to record videos to my comp and burn them as vcds. i know u need a video capture card, but will the 5200 do the trick? do i need to buy anything else? i know i've been posting a lot lately , but i'm a noob at most hardware. so thanks people..
No a TV-Out merely outputs your video onto a Television or similar equipment, it cannot be used as a video capture card, you did not specify, but you mean you want to record from VHS. Rather that get a video-capture card, I recommend the Dazzle DVC 150 (http://www.dazzle.com/products/dvc150.html).
The new Nero 6.0 will encode it for you.
